Shipping + Returns
S H I P P I N G
We ship via FedEx (larger orders) or USPS (smaller orders). Buyer assumes all responsibility for shipping costs + fees, including shipping insurance if requested (please e-mail to request). We do not ship with signature confirmation, but can if you specifically request it.
Please be sure to triple check your address as Homebody Candle Co. is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect, closed or undeliverable address. If your package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect/undeliverable address or business closure and is "returned to sender", Homebody Candle Co. is not responsible for any shipping charges or fees. We're happy to ship your package back to a different address, but you will be asked to cover shipping costs for reshipment.
Please be aware that Homebody Candle Co. is not responsible for delayed transit times once your order leaves the studio. We have no control over transit times once packages are given to the mail carrier. Should your package become delayed or lost, a claim will need to be filed with the shipping carrier.
International orders are shipped via the least expensive method in order to save you costs. Please note that you, the international buyer, are responsible for all customs fees and expenses (if any should arise). Homebody Candle Co. is not financially responsible for paying such fees. International orders can take anywhere from 7 - 28+ days to arrive once shipped. Please check given tracking information should you have any questions.
Any and all "return to sender" packages that incur due to a faulty address, business closure or undeliverable address are the responsibility of the customer to pay additional shipping fees to reship.

Currently, we accept all major credit cards + PayPal! We do not accept payment after shipment, mailed checks or cash.

***DUE TO COVID-19, WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING ANY RETURNS OR EXCHANGES. We will update as more information is gathered.
We are not offering returns at this time, but I do want you to love your purchase! The majority of our products are for beauty + body use so they are final sale due to sanitary + hygienic safety reasons. Should you feel strongly about discussing a potential store credit or exchange, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receiving your order. I'm more than happy to work with you to find a solution that works for the both of us, but please be conscious of the nature of our products.
If a return is accepted: All shipping and handling charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please keep the tracking information until your return has been processed. Any packages sent back to Homebody Candle Co., without direct contact from me stating to return the item(s), will not be accepted and the package will be returned to sender.
We do not assume responsibility for packages containing returns that are lost in transit or packaged poorly. We do not reimburse return shipping costs. We do not replace orders that are shipped with no tracking information.
D A M A G E S
Your order is adequately packaged with handling + transit in mind! While we do take care when packaging your order, damages can happen. If your order arrives in an unusable state, please contact me at email@example.com with a photo of the damaged product + shipping box (if applicable) within 48 hours of receiving. A damage claim will be filed with the shipping carrier and we will work together to find a solution to your damaged product .
V A R I A T I O N S
All of our products are made by hand out of natural ingredients so variations are to be expected. Each and every product we make is carefully inspected before heading to your doorstep. These variations do not affect the integrity of our goods and will not be considered defects or damages:
Candles + tealights • Changes in temperature may cause the top of your candle/tealights to melt slightly in hot delivery trucks/mailboxes. This occurs naturally and we have no control over the weather! Once your candle is in your home, it will cool down. This does not affect the way your candles burn or smell in any way.
Linen mists • Different fragrance combinations mixed with our linen mist recipe may cause a milky or cloudy appearance. This is normal and varies from scent to scent. It does not affect the way your mist will work or smell. Be sure to give these a shake before use to mix everything together for the best results.
Beauty + Skin Products • Due to the nature of handmade products and the natural oils used in our goods, separation is normal! A simple shake will bring everything back together and is an easy solution.
