This scent is different from every other one I’ve made because it’s for someone I’ll always love — my Apollo Creed. 💜

When I bought my old house, a little strawberry patch grew wild in the backyard. Apollo had spent years on city sidewalks, so having a yard was the greatest adventure he’d ever known. Every spring he’d sprint straight to those strawberry plants, helping himself to as many berries as he could before proudly trotting back with strawberry leaves tangled in his beard + little muddy paws.

At first I’d shoo him away. Later, as he got older and I carried him outside instead of watching him race down the steps, I realized those stolen strawberries had become one of our favorite little rituals.

Apollo was my best friend for 16 years. Making this scent has been my way of keeping that memory alive + every time I smell it, I picture him emerging from the patch with the happiest little face.
